Tamim Rahman

Tamim Rahman has over 12 years of experience as an enterprise architect, project manager, manager, and consultant in information technology. In addition to a solid technical background and impressive experience in policy/procedure development and enterprise/solution architecture processes, Tamim has strong business acumen and excels in analysis of views and articulating cross-functional architectures.

Tamim’s work has ranged from Fortune 100 clients to small start-ups across multiple industries including Finance, Telecommunications, Public Sector, Retail, Utilities, Law Enforcement, transportation and Health Care. In the past few years, Tamim has worked with following organizations: Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Accenture CIO and technology labs, Nortel, BC Hydro, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, TerreStar, USPS, Best Buy USA and Canada, Sound Shore Hospital (NY), Medusa Medical, and several government departments and agencies.

Most recently, Tamim has been working with The Open Group to further develop the maturity of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) profession especially in Security Architecture, and has been an active lead with on Enterprise architecture engagements with QRS clients.

Tamim carries the CISSP and CISM designations and is an active instructor of TOGAF® and other architecture courses. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering with distinction from Carleton University.
